Greenpoison is Here!

In my earlier posts I've showed you how to jailbreak using limera1n but now the most anticipated jailbreak ever is now here. Jailbreaking all devices Greenpoison is stable and most reliable jailbreak. This jailbreak was released earlier this week and was not released for mac users right away. On the 16th of October it was released to mac users so now everyone is happy. The very good and interesting thing about Greenpoison is it is a permanent jailbreak which means no matter what it will be jailbroken. The only way for apple to unjailbreak it is if they take it themselves to manually change it, which no one in their right mind would do if they wanted to keep their jailbreak. I will now tell you how to jailbreak using Greenpoison. First go to http://www.greenpois0n.com/ and download Greenpoison for Linux, Windows, or Mac. Then open Greenpoison and connect your device while it’s powered off. Then Greenpoison will guide you through putting it in DFU mode. Then it will start exploiting and Jailbreaking. This process should only take a couple of minutes. This will give you loader. Open loader from your iPod and download Cydia. After it is done installing Cydia it will ask to remove loader and that is your choice. Top 5 Favorite iPod Touch Apps

My top 5 favorite apps for the iPod touch and iPhone, in no certain order, are as follow:


Palringo:

This app is a messaging app that allows you to connect to most chatting clients such as: Facebook, Windows Live, Yahoo, Google talk, and Aim. This application can keep you online when you can’t find wifi with your iDevices. So when you log back on you can see all the messages you missed.

Remote:

 

This app is very useful because it allows you to control iTunes on the computer with you iPod and change the song and volume no matter where you are as long as you have internet. This saves money because apple sells remotes to control their computers and this is a sufficient replacement for that device.

Peggle: 

This isn't a very useful app but it by far is one of the most entertaining ones out there. The game consists of shooting a pinball around trying to hit as many pegs on the screen as possible. There are many levels and many power ups that provide many hours of enjoyment. 

WifiTrak:

This app allows you to utilize Wi-Fi more than the iPod settings can do, it receives farther internet and shows you internet that is hidden. It also automatically connects to open Wi-Fi. 

Winterboard:

 

This app is only available from Cydia which means your iPod has to be jailbroken. This app will allow you to apply any theme that you want. This includes changing apps, changing lock screens and changing the charging battery icon 

Top 5 Favorite Android Apps

Here are my top 5 favorite android apps.

 1.Palringo.

This app is a messaging app that allows you to connect to most chatting clients such as: Facebook, Windows Live, Yahoo, Google talk, and Aim. The good thing about this is if you want to be constantly online you can, because all android phones have 3G. This way if someone messages you, you will get a notification and you can respond instantly.

2. Barcode Scanner

This app allows you to use the camera on an android phone to analyze any barcode and scan it. Then it can product or web search it. I always like to show off this app even though it is almost pointless. The only good use i can think of is using it to find out the price of a product you would want to buy in a store versus online using the web search which can potentially save you money.

3. Astro File Manager

This is a very good app to use to view the internal files of your phone from your phone. Its the equivalent of iFile for the iPhone and iPod Touch. This way you can download apps on your computer and transfer then to your phone then install them manually using this app. Also if you have a rooted Droid Incredible you can accept for it have Superuser privileges.

4. Google Goggles

This is a unique app that allows you to take a picture and Google will do a picture search for you with that image. It's in early development but it shows promise for how innovative future app can be and how advanced we are getting.
5. Skype Mobile

Skype Mobile allows you to use Skype anywhere anytime to call anyone that has a Skype account. There also minutes packages you can buy to call people with Skype on your phone.

FINALLLYY! 4.1 JAILBREAK IS HERE!

 All of the people that upgraded to 4.1 and have been so patient in the wait for Greenpoison, I have news for you, you still have to wait. It's true the Team behind the Greenpoison Jailbreak have decided to wait a lot longer to release their jailbreak. Then we all ask why would they do this? That’s where the good news is. They decided to do this because the people behind the known jailbreak of 3.0, Limera1n, have just released their new tool that will jailbreak the iPhone 3GS 4.1/4.0/4.0.2/4.0, iPhone 4 4.1/4.0/4.0.2/4.0, iPod touch 3G 4.1/4.0/4.0.2/4.0, iPod touch 4G 4.1/4.0/4.0.2/4.0, and iPad 3.2.2 hardware. This I'm sure will please many people because honestly who cares what it called we just want to jailbreak our iDevices. So now if you aren’t experienced in these things you are probably wondering how can I do this "Jailbreak?" I will show you how right now. First you will need to plug in your corresponding device. Then download limera1n from this link, http://www.limera1n.com/. It will ask to run because of security warning click run and then you should see this:

How to Unroot or Hard Reset your HTC Droid Incredible

If you’re not satisfied with you root of your Incredible or its slowing down your phone or if you need to switch kernels i will show you how to hard reset and unroot. Most people can’t figure out how to do this for Android 2.2 but i have figured it out and i will show you how. 

                   I’m assuming that you used clockwork recovery and so we will start from there. So if you’re S-off then you have to turn it on by downloading this and installing it through clockwork recovery. Now you’re ready to start the hard parts. Now carry on and download this file http://www.fourty.net/~berzerker/stockstuff/PB31IMG_3.21.605.1_RUU.zip and rename it PB31IMG.zip and keep it somewhere where you will remember. Now plug in your phone and select disk mount and then go back to the computer and choose the file you just downloaded and put it on the sd card. then safely remove your phone by switching it to charge only. Turn off the phone and then turn it on by hold the power and lower volume button and it will ask you if you want to update. Press the upper volume button to select yes to that question and will proceed to update. This might take a while so sit back and wait until it is done and reboot. Now your phone should completely reset and unrooted and ready to send in if you need to claim a problem with the phone. 

How to Put Swype on Your Android Phone

Swype is the newest and apparently fastest way of typing. You bassically just drag around a line through the letters you want to select and it will ype it for you. here is a demonstration.
If this is appealing to you and you have an android phone i will show you how to have this feature. So first we must start by going to the market and downloading a file manager. Astro File Manager is, in my opinion, the best. Once you have this downloaded on your android phone go to the internet on a computer and download this file http://hotfile.com/dl/71199170/af991ba/swype.v2.4.44.10912.wvga.english.android.apk.html and put it somewhere where you can remember. Now connect your phone to the computer and mount it as a disk drive. Drag the swype file on the the sd card. Then safely remove by putting your phone on charge only. Then on your phone open Astro file manager and find the file you just put on the sd card and select it and install it. Your phone might ask you if it's ok to install apps from unknown sources just say ok. Once this is done go to settings then language and keyboard and select the swype option. Now to use it when you are typing hold down your finger on the input area and select input method and then select swype and WALLAH! You now have swype so now go show it off to all your friends and make them jealous.
